About the Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this hands-on Accountant role plays a key part in supporting the finance and commercial functions.
You'll be responsible for management reporting, tax and compliance, contractor RCTIs, and performance analysis across the business.
Working closely with operations and sales, you'll provide accurate financial insights to guide commercial decisions.
This is a varied, fast-paced role where your contribution will have real impact.
Responsibilities
Prepare weekly and monthly financial statements and reporting
Deliver accurate Gross Profit and KPI reporting
Process contractor RCTIs and review trends and variances
Report on operational and client performance across multiple states
Maintain general ledger accuracy and support tax compliance (BAS, payroll tax)
Drive process improvement across finance and reporting
The Successful Candidate
Degree-qualified in Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline
Experience in financial reporting and general ledger management
Industry experience in supply chain, logistics, or distribution (highly regarded)
Strong analytical and commercial mindset with excellent attention to detail
Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities
Confident communicator who enjoys partnering with stakeholders
Committed to continuous improvement and delivering high-quality work
