Being a part of our team means joining a great bunch of people who are experts in their field, providing a rich learning environment to further your professional and personal development.Why Work for Us:Competitive salary with site uplift and paid R&RFamily first cultureRelocation assistance (if necessary)Work in pristine sea and riverside locationsAbout the RoleBased in our Port Adelaide office and project sites across South Australia (with interstate opportunities), you will be exposed to a range of diverse and complex challenges in a very unique industry.You will work under the guidance of a Project Manager on a range of tasks including:Assist in planning, execution and close-out of projectsPreparation of project management plans, safety and environmental plans and all other project documentationInterpret drawings and prepare RFI's and/or TQ's (Technical Queries)Prepare inspection test plan (ITPs) and oversee quality control efficiently to ensure works adhere to specificationMonitor project program; procurement and construction milestonesSite mobilisation and associated logisticsWork closely onsite with the project team including Project Superintendents, Surveyors, Supervisors and specialist marine crewRisk management in accordance with quality, WHS and environmental obligationsProject progress reportingLiaise and manage subcontractors and consultantsAssist with tender compilation and submissionThis person will be a committed project professional who has a tertiary qualification in civil engineering, along with 2-5 years project engineering experience.
They must be able to establish close working relationships at all levels of the business, as well as our clients, external stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
You will be responsible for tracking of project deliverables, including on site management, programming, manning, procurement, scheduling and monitoring costs.About YouEngineering degree (civil, structural and mechanical preferred)Minimum 2 years in a site engineering roleFull working rights and based in AdelaideProficient in Microsoft Office suite (MS Project highly valued)Proficient in CAD softwareAbility to read and interpret construction drawingsExcellent interpersonal and written communication skillsExcellent organisational, planning and project management skillsThe ability to lead and motivate project crewsAbility to adapt quickly to changing prioritiesBe a self starter who can "think on their feet" with good problem solving skillsPunctual, reliable and keen to learnHave effective time management skillsCurrent Driver's LicenceAvailable to travel and work on regional project sites (typically 2:1 roster)If you love what you do and want to join a team of others who are passionate about what they do, don't delay.
