Responsibilities
Working on a wide range of projects across the Infrastructure, Built Environment, Manufacturing & Industry, Mining and Resources and Power & Energy sectors.
Leading structural design and analysis across a variety of projects, ensuring safe, compliant and high-quality outcomes.
Prepare, review and approve structural calculations, reports and design documentation.
Managing and coordinating project deliverables, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Providing technical guidance, mentoring and oversight to junior engineers and drafters.
Supporting project planning, budgeting, scheduling and delivery to meet client and commercial expectations.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships to support repeat work and long-term partnerships.
Challenging existing approaches with a focus on innovation, efficiency and continuous improvement.
Experience
7+ years’ experience with tertiary qualifications in civil engineering.
RPEQ (Structural) accreditation is required.
Demonstrated experience delivering structural design projects across infrastructure, industrial, mining, renewables or built environment sectors.
Strong technical capability in structural analysis and design, with in-depth knowledge of relevant Australian Standards.
Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., SpaceGass, ETABS, INDUCTA SLB or similar).
Experience in structural site inspections and construction phase services, including responding to RFIs, reviewing shop drawings and providing technical support during construction.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to build client and stakeholder relationships.
Well-developed creative, lateral thinking and problem-solving skills.
