Process Development Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Development Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our Process Engineering team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing stable and reliable manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement safe, scalable, stable, and robust manufacturing processes across the manufacturing network for new and commercially available products.
* Support the introduction of new processes, equipment, and materials, including installation, calibration, OH&S assessment, and debug, ensuring compliance with quality management systems.
* Plan and develop engineering work packages addressing unique problems or team challenges that impact moderate to large programs.
* Execute and document process validation builds, coordinate testing of characterization, verification, and validation units, and compile, analyze, and report on results.
* Meet the manufacturing network optimization strategy by relocating or duplicating processes across the manufacturing network, aligning with project objectives, targets, and timelines within your area of expertise.
* Support experimentation and testing to characterize, optimize, and troubleshoot processes and equipment, summarizing, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from test results to achieve effective technical resolution.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Tertiary qualifications in Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent, ideally with experience in a similar process development engineering role in a highly regulated industry.
* An engineering professional who applies scientific and engineering knowledge, mathematics, and statistical ingenuity to complete projects.
* Demonstrable basic technical expertise on process/product technologies to support design, optimization, validation, and troubleshooting of emergent issues.
* Ideal experience with DFSS/DMAIC tools, KT Problem Solving & Decision Making, PDCA, DOE's, and application of these tools in characterizing, optimizing, and troubleshooting process equipment and technology performance.
