About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Asset & Leasing Manager to join a dynamic property funds management platform. This is a hands-on role managing a robust and growing portfolio of retail assets nationally, while managing a small team. You will drive strategic asset plans, optimise investment performance, and play a pivotal role in tenant relationships, leasing, and portfolio enhancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic asset plans to maximise property performance.
- Manage tenant relationships, lease negotiations, and leasing strategies to ensure occupancy and retention.
- Engage and manage external leasing agents.
- Oversee budgets, capital works, financial reporting, and risk management.
- Undertake analysis across the asset lifecycle, including acquisitions and divestments.
- Coordinate valuations, rent reviews, and investor reporting.
- Build a strong market profile through industry networks and partnerships.
- Manage and develop an in-house Property Manager.
About You
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in real estate with a proven track record in commercial asset management. Candidates from a Senior Property Management or Shopping Centre Management background are encouraged to apply.
- Client-side experience is highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of property markets and valuation methodologies.
- Skilled negotiator with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Advanced technical and financial modelling skills (Excel, Argus, Yardi, MRI, or similar).
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Must be willing to travel interstate.
