Quality Assurance plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of projects. As an Incoming Goods Quality Inspector, you will be working with a project team to guarantee that products and installation work align with internal quality plans, directives, and contract requirements.
This role involves:
* Participating in problem-solving initiatives to identify and address any issues that may arise during project execution.
* Performing thorough inspections on parts delivered by suppliers to ensure they meet the required standards.
* Initiating non-conformance reports (NCRs) for products or processes that do not comply with established guidelines and actively collaborating with teams to resolve these issues.
* Issuing quality alerts for potential risks to project quality and safety aspects.
To excel in this position, you should possess:
* A technical diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
* Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems, in-process inspections, and quality procedures.
* Welding inspection qualifications would be advantageous.
* Proficiency in using MS Office package and SharePoint.
* Strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and prior experience working in a rail environment or similar industry.
