The Department of Corporate and Digital Development (DCDD) provide essential corporate functions to the Northern Territory Government (NTG) under a centralised service model, enabling government agencies to focus on their core business.
Situated within DCDD, the Workforce Management team delivers high-level, client-focused advice, guidance and coaching to client agencies across employee relations in areas of injury management, workplace disputes, performance, conduct, and change management.
Available roles:
* Senior Manager (SAO1): Lead and develop a Workforce Management team to deliver a contemporary, client-focused HR service across the NTG as a model employer.
* Manager (AO7): Manage a small team and provide expert advice on employment related matters and legislation to support our clients to implement best practice HR.
* Senior Officer (AO6): Provide expert advice on employment related matters and legislation to support our clients to implement best practice HR.
Success in these role hinges on your demonstrated experience and contemporary knowledge of operational HR management and organisational effectiveness. High-level communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish collaborative relationships to positively influence HR practices is essential. Industry qualifications and AHRI accreditation would be well received.
Applications will be assessed against all 3 designations and successful applicants will be awarded offers of employment based on their suitability, qualifications and industry experience. Applicants deemed suitable but not offered employment will be maintained in a talent pool for future opportunities as they arise.
