Program Coordinator - Vocational Education and Training
This is a permanent part‐time (0.5FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2026.
Warnbro Community High School (WCHS) is seeking a highly motivated and effective Vocational Education and Training (VET) Program Coordinator.
Situated 50 kilometres south of Perth, WCHS is located in the beach‐side communities of Warnbro and Port Kennedy. WCHS provides a vibrant and nurturing learning environment that takes a holistic approach to the growth and development of its students. Responsibilities
As a Program Coordinator, you will work collaboratively with the Principal and members of the administrative team to provide educational leadership within the school and the community. You will develop and promote the school's vision for academic success and encourage school staff, volunteers, and community members to share ownership of the school's vision and goals.
Using effective change strategies, you will lead the school community to accept and develop opportunities for improved service in the department. You will facilitate workforce effectiveness and provide a role model for self‐development to improve professional performance. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of the school plan through participative decision‐making, including developing policy and establishing and maintaining systems.
As the Program Coordinator, you will manage programs, specific curriculum areas, and general school administration, including the management of school timetable processes. You will also undertake administrative duties related to the accountable department and liaise extensively with the Principal, Deputy Principals, Heads of Department/Learning Area, and relevant specialist staff.
