Great opportunity for an experienced analytic Procurement Analyst to join a high-profile government corporation.
This role is focused on supporting the delivery of procurement reporting and providing analytical support that includes but not limited to delivering research, analytics and insights on cost structures, suppliers, market indicators and internal expenditure opportunities, and commercial benchmarking.
This is a contract for 6 months, and will follow a hybrid work set up (Parramatta and WFH).
Rate is up to $700 per day + super
**About the Job**:
- Work with other roles within the team to implement Procurement analytics and reporting framework
- Provide commercial analytical support and enable the wider
procurement team to achieve the best possible commercial value throughout Procurement lifecycle
- Collaborate and support the broader Finance and Business Performance Group to
implement and drive adoption of Procurement reporting and dashboard
- Interact with relevant stakeholders from time to time to gather and/or validate data
- Interact with suppliers to obtain and/or validate data that is required for analytics and reporting
- Developing analytical tools, and templates to achieve the best possible commercial outcome through Procurement activities and processes
- Defining Procurement KPI's, reporting and dashboard that meets the need of stakeholders
- Managing a heavy workload with tight deadlines and competing commitments and priorities which require negotiating and continual re-prioritising of own and team's work
**About You**:
- 2+ years' experience working in procurement analytics and reporting function in a large complex
organisation, preferably in a similar organisation or industry sector
- Demonstrated experience in research, systems, data mining and analytics, modelling and information
presentation
- Demonstrated experience in commercial benchmarking and evaluation
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships with ease
- Sound knowledge of reporting, data and analytics
- Sound knowledge of analytical and reporting tool such as Microsoft Power BI
- Knowledge of procurement process and system (preferably SAP Ariba)
