Responsibilities:
• Operate and set up HAAS/Fanuc CNC machines to produce high-quality truck, trailer, and tooling aftermarket parts.
• Interpret CNC software and ensure precise machining processes.
• Work with materials such as aluminium, stainless steel, and cast iron.
• Demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Undertake continuous improvement initiatives and cross-training activities.
• Collaborate with the team to meet production targets and quality standards.
Requirements:
• Trade Certificate in Machine Operating/Setting or similar qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in CNC machining, with a focus on CNC lathing.
• Competency in setting Doosan CNC lathes.
• Essential experience in programming with Fanuc Controllers.
• CAD/CAM experience is highly regarded.
• Ability to work with various materials, including aluminium, stainless steel, and cast iron.
