Practical Information:
Location: Melbourne or Brisbane, Australia | Reports to: IT Support Engineer Team Lead | Team Size: 5 | Visa Requirements: Valid working visa for Australia | Language Requirements: Fluent/professional level English, written and spoken
As our new Service Desk Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering, managing, and supporting Crayon systems, providing internal support for staff, maintaining the local office, and ensuring service delivery according to SLAs.
Other responsibilities will include
* Provide support to Crayon staff requests across all channels
* Provide technical assistance related to Azure, Office365, Infrastructure servers, computer systems, software, hardware, and managed compute virtual machines
* Participate in weekly IT meetings and perform daily monitoring of the system availability for all server infrastructures
* Challenge the status quo, whilst always looking for opportunities for continuous improvement
* Define and document best practices and strategies for application integration and infrastructure maintenance within Jira or other systems to enhance the knowledge base articles
* 2+ years' experience in IT support related roles
* Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 applications and services
* Solid understanding of wired and wireless networks, including switching, VLANs, MPLS, routers, firewalls, and proxies
* General understanding of Microsoft Autopilot/Intune for device management, policy implementation, app deployment, and scripting
* Degree in IT or similar and certification such as AZ-900, AZ-104, MS-900 are desirable
