Join one of Australia's leading agribusinesses in a pivotal HR leadership role.
The North Australian Pastoral Company (NAPCo), a long-established and highly respected organisation in the beef industry, is seeking a commercially astute HR Manager to step into a 15-month parental leave cover role (with potential to extend or convert to permanent).
This is not your typical HR contract. NAPCo has invested significantly in transforming their People & Culture function and you'll step into a high-performing team and be trusted to keep up the momentum.
About the Opportunity
Reporting directly to the CEO and sitting on the Leadership Team, this role is both strategic and hands-on. You'll work across a diverse workforce of 230+ staff spanning QLD and the NT on remote cattle stations, a feedlot and farm, and a collaborative corporate office in Brisbane. You'll lead a capable team and focus on workforce relations, enterprise agreement planning, and strategic HR delivery across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the HR function, providing strategic guidance and hands-on support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring NAPCo's positive culture is maintained.
* Manage IR matters, ensure Fair Work compliance, and act as the escalation point for complex employee issues.
* Oversee Enterprise Agreement planning (in advance of renegotiation in 2027), partnering with internal Business Analysts for commercial modelling.
* Deliver employee experience initiatives, including various leadership / team building conferences and engagement events.
* Provide strategic insights to the CEO, Leadership Team and Board (as required).
* Deliver reporting to the NAPCo Board, Remuneration & Nominations Committee, and Audit and Risk Committee.
