Disability Support Worker Job Description
CareChoice is seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team in the Greater Geelong area. As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide quality services and safeguards to clients with an emphasis on skill and capacity building to encourage independence and confidence for meaningful and active inclusion in society.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support clients with complex care requirements, including physical and behavioural conditions
* Provide 24-hour complex supports, supported independent living, community access and transport, domestic and personal care
* Build on individual strengths and enable clients to reach their goals
Requirements:
* Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
* Certificate IV in Disability
* Minimum 12 months experience working with clients that have complex care requirements
* Valid Driver's Licence with access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
