Skill/Experience Required
* Flexibility to adapt and thrive in a dynamic setting.
* Proven experience in a fast-paced and large restaurant or similar dining environment for at least 1 year.
* Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent minimum.
* Ability to create and nurture a positive work environment so that all team members can thrive.
* Willingness to learn.
* Experience implementing and upholding company policies and standards.
* High level of Vietnamese/Asian food & beverage knowledge, and ability to engage customers effectively.
* Strong leadership and organisational skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* A passion for hospitality and a commitment to top-tier customer service.
Duties/Responsibilities
* Managing the front of house team.
* Training and mentoring staff to foster their development and career growth.
* Ensuring the restaurant and bar operate successfully, profitably, and consistently.
* Building relationships with front of house and back of house teams.
* Handling administrative and reporting functions.
* Reporting directly to Directors on venue performance.
* Maintaining food permits and compliance documents, including food registration and OH&S, with annual inspections and audits.
* Conducting staff performance reviews and weekly financial checks (wages, cash, invoices, costs).
* Developing strategies to maximize revenue, spend per customer, and overall profitability.
* Generating sales leads and contributing to sales initiatives.
* Maintaining communication with kitchen and marketing departments.
* Upholding food & beverage quality control measures and working with the Head Chef on improvement plans.
* Managing systems and manuals to standardize operations.
* Overseeing venue maintenance and budgeting.
