The Role
Reporting to the CFO, an exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Finance Systems Lead to join a growing business undertaking a significant finance transformation program centred around the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
You will lead the finance systems implementation from process design and configuration through to deployment, user adoption and post-go-live stabilisation. Working closely with Finance, Operations, IT and external implementation partners, you will ensure the new ERP platform delivers streamlined processes, stronger controls and scalable business outcomes.
This is a highly visible contract role that is suited to someone who thrives at the intersection of finance, systems and business transformation, and will run for at least the next 12 month.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the implementation and stabilisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
* Drive ERP configuration, testing, deployment and go-live activities
* Translate finance and operational requirements into effective system solutions
* Establish master data governance across vendors, inventory and BOMs
* Embed workflows, approvals and financial controls
* Coordinate payroll and system integrations
* Partner with operational stakeholders to improve upstream processes
* Support training, change management and transition into BAU ownership
* Ensure clean data, efficient workflows and reduced manual processing
The Candidate
* Proven ERP implementation experience, ideally within finance-led transformation projects
* Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or broader Dynamics platforms
* Strong understanding of finance processes, controls and reporting
* Ability to bridge technical and business teams effectively
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Pragmatic, hands-on and delivery-focused approach
* Experience within manufacturing, distribution, supply chain or other complex operational environments will be highly regarded
