Flexible Support Worker Opportunities
We are seeking experienced and compassionate individuals to join our team as Flexible Support Workers. In this role, you will provide person-centered active support to people living with disability on the Central Coast.
About the Role
As a Flexible Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing daily living assistance, personal care, and emotional support to individuals with complex needs. This may include assisting with bathing, dressing, and manual handling tasks.
Key Responsibilities
* Support clients with mental health challenges, complex needs, and high behaviours of concern
* Implement person-centered active support and follow behaviour support plans
* Assist with personal care tasks (e.g. bathing, dressing) and manual handling
* Availability for short-notice shifts and sleepovers is essential
* Log daily care and changes in needs to ensure informed, coordinated support
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Experience with high behaviours of concern is required
* Resilience and confidence in managing complex situations
* An unrestricted New South Wales driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
* Demonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on a mobile and desktop
* A current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011
