We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our Golf & Turf Equipment division throughout the Melbourne Metro Region. In this role, you will oversee a well-established team, develop customer relationships, sales processes, and marketing initiatives to drive market share and profitability.
About the Role:
As an integral member of our Branch leadership team, you will contribute to ensuring the continued profitability and growth of the branches, the personal growth of employees, and the satisfaction of customers.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with regular travel requirements within the surrounding area and between locations of responsibility.
Your success will be measured primarily in three key categories:
1. Customer Satisfaction: You will use your negotiation and relationship management skills to develop long-term mutually beneficial customer relationships, solidifying our reputation as a leader in customer satisfaction and business partnerships.
2. Financial Performance: Using your industry knowledge and commercial acumen, you will set goals and budgets that align with your team's ability to operationalize and respond to external demands.
3. Leadership and Development: You will leverage your experience and success in sales to develop and elevate the team you lead, creating a culture of shared success, ongoing development, operational excellence, and integrity.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Prior success in a sales position
- Previous experience in the Golf & Turf industry
- Aptitude and desire to lead others to achieve similar success
- Strong knowledge of the industry and wider agricultural sector
- Proven success creating and maintaining healthy, profitable customer relationships
- Solid understanding of financial realities, including asset and inventory management, budgeting, and pricing strategy
