Emerald State High School is seeking a dedicated Teacher Aide to support student learning and assist teachers in delivering effective classroom programs.
This role contributes to a positive, inclusive environment and helps students achieve their best.
This position is being offered in a Permanent Part-Time capacity (0.79FTE), 60 hours per fortnight.

As a Teacher Aide You Will Be Required To
* Display respect and empathy for students with high level needs
* Support students in and out of the classroom, including during playground duty
* Display confidentiality, tact, reliability and sensitivity to students and their families
* Assist with personal care needs as required, including general health and safety of students - training will be provided
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and students to support positive outcomes
* Support students with self-regulation and curriculum access
* Support the use of reasonable adjustments for students with disability
* Proven ability to work independently, achieving quality work outcomes
* Demonstrated high-level communication skills
* Efficient multi-tasking, time management and organisational skills
