Annual Salary: $77,000 to $83,000
Position Description
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Carpenter to join our team. This role offers a unique variety of work, covering both the structural "bones" of a project and the high-end finishing.
Key Responsibilities
* First Fix & Formwork: Constructing formwork for concrete columns, erecting headers, and assisting with steel fixing.
* Second Fix: Executing all internal carpentry work, including skirting, architraves, doors, and hardware installation.
* Material Handling: Working confidently with both timber and aluminium materials.
* Safety: Maintaining a clean and safe worksite in accordance with OHS standards.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you must be an "all-rounder" who takes pride in their craft. We are looking for:
* Experience: A minimum of 3 to 4 years of proven experience specifically in Formwork or Second Fix carpentry.
* Technical Skill: Ability to read plans and work independently on columns and headers.
* Tools & Transport: Must have your own basic kit of tools and a valid driver's license.
* Attitude: Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a team environment.
* Qualification: Relevant trade certificate (Cert III in Carpentry) is highly regarded.
