Accounting Professional
The church is seeking a full-time accounting professional to serve in various capacities, including financial management and reporting. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of a supportive office team and enjoy generous benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with senior management on financial planning and analysis
* Prepare and review financial reports for internal stakeholders
* Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and data analysis to inform strategic decision-making
* Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and reconciliations
Requirements:
* Strong computer skills and proficiency in accounting software applications
* Qualifications in accounting or finance, with relevant experience in church or non-profit settings an asset
* Practicing member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church with a strong commitment to its mission
* Valid Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People check/card and current driver's license required
Benefits:
Competitive salary range: $80,411 - $109,250 per annum, inclusive of superannuation.
