Systems Administrator – Eveleigh, NSW (Hybrid)
We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join our team at Eveleigh, NSW. The position is hybrid, Monday to Friday business hours.
About the Role
The incumbent will support the day-to-day management of NEP's IT systems, provide specialised support to escalated issues, collaborate with the broader technology teams, actively participate as a key resource in organisational projects, work closely with 3rd party vendors and continually innovate to improve organisational productivity, capability, and service levels.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software.
* Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues promptly.
* Ensure effectiveness of data backup and recovery processes.
* Collaborate with local and international teams as required.
* Adhere to internal procedures including security protocols, change control, and incident management.
* Assist in planning and executing IT projects and upgrades.
* Serve as an escalation point for First Level Support Staff.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Required skills and attributes
* Experience deploying and supporting Windows Server.
* Experience administering Active Directory.
* Experience administering Exchange Online.
* Experience administering switches.
* Proficiency with VMware.
* Proficiency with PowerShell.
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
* Familiarity with Okta or other IAM platforms.
* Able to work autonomously.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong time and task management abilities with keen attention to detail.
* Team‐building skills with excellent interpersonal abilities.
