About us:
Turosi Pty Ltd is a privately-owned poultry Company with facilities in Victoria, Queensland and NSW, providing a full range of raw and cooked food solutions across a range of proteins to the retail and food service sectors.
About the role:
This role is available due to an internal promotion. It reports to the Warehouse & Distribution Manager.
The role is based at our Lavarack Avenue site and is a Full-Time permanent position.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Ensure all documents (B/loading, packing lists, health certificates, invoices and insurance) are completed and delivered within set timeframe for customers.
· Liaise with shipping companies, freight forwarders and appropriate government departments to make arrangements according to the schedule.
· Book export shipping containers with shipping companies and airfreight with freight forwarders.
· Organise scheduling of load out with Warehouse & Distribution Supervisor/ Manager.
· Analyse and produce reports for logistics functions including financial reports and delivery performance.
· Process Domestic Sales Delivery & Dispatch documents.
· Monitor and file all domestic sales documents.
· Complete sales invoicing process.
· Liaise with the Accounts Department to ensure all export/domestic sales invoices are processed & queries dealt with.
· Process all freight, storage & engineering related invoices.
· Complete weekly reconciliation.
· Investigate transaction discrepancies, follow up with suppliers & customers.
· Provide assistance to the Warehouse & Distribution Manager in developing and implementing export & domestic sales & logistics procedures.
About you:
Essential:
· Relevant logistics business experience
· Intermediate Excel and Word
· Knowledge of basic accounting procedures
· Outstanding customer service skills
Preferred:
· Knowledge in specialised inventory & export software (BC/Ozdocs)
· Logistics fundamental training
· Experience in manufacturing environment
· Knowledge of DA requirements
· Knowledge of Export documentation.
