Role Summary
The Digital Communications Officer will join a dynamic team in Hobart or Launceston to create and deliver engaging content on the University's digital platforms.
Main Responsibilities
1. Create high-quality content for student communications, ensuring consistent messaging that resonates with the student cohort.
2. Regularly update and audit digital content across all platforms to ensure accuracy and relevance.
3. Analyse engagement levels with digital content and prepare reports to inform priorities and continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Completion of a degree in media, journalism, or marketing.
* Excellent written and visual communication skills, including web design, copywriting, creation of digital assets, editing, layout of digital content, email publication, and automation.
* Strong understanding of student management systems and software applications, such as content management systems, web/app management tools, and Student Portal.
