ICT Infrastructure Team Lead - $131k + super + benefits (90M ) Kingswood, Sydney, Australia
Salary: AUD - AUD per annum + super + benefits
My client is looking to engage a hands‑on ICT Infrastructure Team Lead to manage and mentor their ICT Infrastructure team. You will be responsible for the strategic direction and operational stability of our core systems, focusing on Microsoft 365, modern endpoint management with Intune and SCCM, and our Windows Server 2019+ environment as well as ad‑hoc project work. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise and leadership skills, underpinned by ITIL best practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the infrastructure support team, managing workloads, setting priorities, and acting as the primary escalation point.
* Modern Workplace Management: Oversee the administration and optimization of our Office 365 tenant (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, etc.).
* Endpoint Management: Drive our endpoint strategy, managing Windows 11 devices through co‑management using Microsoft Intune (Autopilot, Conditional Access) and SCCM (OSD, patching, application deployment).
* Server Infrastructure: Manage and maintain our on‑premise and cloud server environment, specializing in Windows Server 2019/2022 (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, Virtualization).
* Service Management: Implement and uphold ITIL principles for incident, problem, and change management to ensure high‑quality service delivery.
* Strategy & Projects: Contribute to infrastructure strategy, roadmap planning, and lead technical projects for system upgrades, migrations, and improvements.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in an ICT Infrastructure Team Lead role.
* Expert‑level knowledge of Office 365 administration and security.
* Deep technical expertise in endpoint management using both Microsoft Intune and SCCM.
* Strong experience deploying and managing Windows 11 in an enterprise setting.
* Extensive hands‑on skills with Windows Server 2019/2022, Active Directory, and related services.
* ITIL Foundation (or higher) certification and practical experience in an ITIL‑based environment.
* Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and mentoring skills.
Bonus Points For
* Microsoft Azure (Entra ID, IaaS, Networking) certifications.
* Advanced PowerShell scripting.
* Experience with network infrastructure (firewalls, switching).
