Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of quality civil drainage products for different construction contractors, builders and hardware retailers.
Your new role
This role will report to the Manager and closely support the CFO within the business and manage end-to-end accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Daily Receipting - 11 companies
* Monthly Reconciliation of Bank Feeds - 11 companies with 24 bank accounts and 7 credit cards
* Management of Fixed Assets Register - this is the management, addition, reconciliation, and depreciation of 4 companies
* Debt collection - chasing customers for payment dates, updating directors twice a week to meet with the managing director, reviewing at-risk customers, and liaising with EC Credit Control with debt collection proceedings
* Assist in creating credit and processing the credits once approved and liaising with customers of application of credit for invoices.
* Sales Reports - Sending of monthly sales report to director for review
* Reviewing Non-Operating companies' entries to confirm they are correct, and balances are accurate.
* Making monthly credit card payments for supplies
* Assisting with payroll approvals when required (back up)
* Creating purchase order when required
* Entering Bills into Xero for confidential creators
* Processing ASIC's Resolution of the Directors
* Booking Flights for directors
* Review of account applications by both supplier and customer for presentation to managing director.
* Customers monthly reporting material quantities for sustainability
* Processing STP lodgements for two non-operational companies
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be responsible for the duties outlined above and will require the following:
Essential experience
* At least 3 years' experience in a similar capacity
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Experience working within a fast-paced, high-volume work environment
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Experience working with inventory transactions
* Strong excellence skills
* Excellent communication skills
