**Hunter / Central Coast NSW, Riverina and**
**Central West NSW.**

**Full-time temporary role - 1 Year contract**

**Total Remuneration Package $132,022.06 (Package includes base salary of $108,494 - $116,838 p.a plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading)**

**About the role**

TAFE NSW is seeking dynamic and knowledgeable Work Health and Safety Specialists to join its Plant and Machinery Safety and Compliance Program to be based in various locations across NSW.

These pivotal roles will drive the implementation of a number of integrated safety initiatives being undertaken by the Program to ensure a safe learning and working environment for our students, staff and other stakeholders who learn with, operate and maintain our extensive fleet of plant and machinery assets.

**We are recruiting for 3 full time temporary (1 year) positions**

**These positions are based in the following regional locations**:

- Hunter and Central Coast NSW: 1x Position
- Central West NSW: 1x position
- Riverina : 1 x position

**Essential Requirements**
- Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
- Class C driver’s licence with the capacity to travel for TAFE NSW business purposes as required
- Ability to address and meet focus capabilities as stated in the Position Description

**The following will be highly regarded**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
- Proven experience in WHS, ideally in industries operating large volumes of plant and machinery.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards relating to plant and machinery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in delivering training and awareness programs.
