About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Retailer, Foodie and People Leader to join us as a Store Manager. Reporting to the Area Manager, the Store Manager is responsible for providing support, direction and inspiration to the team members in their business.
This includes communication of the company strategies and objectives as well as guidance and coaching around personal development, merchandising and store operating standards, customer service excellence and safety. The Store Management team is responsible for leading, motivating and developing the Kitchen Warehouse culture within their business so we can achieve the best experiences for our team and customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the team members deliver a fantastic customer experience
* Drive sales to achieve targets
* Have a strong understanding of rosters, wages and productivity
* Manage stock levels and inventory movement & loss prevention
* Manage team performance, development and engagement
* Maintain visual merchandising standards to company guidelines
* Manage all areas of store administration
* Be an advocate for the Kitchen Warehouse brand
About You
We want our Store Management teams to feel empowered and to lead and inspire excellence from their teams and take them to the next level.
You must have an ownership mentality, and thrive in an environment where your decisions play a key role in facilitating the execution of Kitchen Warehouse's strategy. You will need sound judgement, be an outstanding coach, and be able to influence through your communication skills. Being a team player, you will be a player‐coach and lead by example working both on the shop floor and the warehouse where required. The ability to develop and motivate a cohesive and enthusiastic team will be vital in achieving our goals and aspirations.
Position Requirements
* Ability to drive high levels of team engagement
* Enthusiastic, energetic and passionate about our team and customer experience, home cooking and food
* Strong inventory experience and managing large volumes of stock
* Sound commercial acumen and the ability to read and interpret P&L reports
* Organised with excellent time management skills
* Full Driver's Licence
* Available to work retail trading hours
* Able to produce a Police Clearance (3 months or less)
