Our client is an end-to-end water treatment solutions provider, operating in the mining & metals, petrochemical, food & beverage, and municipal sectors across ANZ and EMEA.
They deliver services including design & construct, design, construct & operate, consulting, and equipment supply for major capital projects in Australia and internationally.
Position Overview
The team have 4 positions for experienced Process Engineers.
These roles come with multiple facets in responsibility, predominantly you'll be responsible for the managing of the installation, commissioning and operations of multiple treatment plant sites across the state predominantly in the mining sector, other duties will call for for process design as well as project engineering and delivery.
This is a rare opportunity to work on wide variety of water treatment projects in the mining industry, this role would entail travel to sites, with potential for DIDO and FIFO positions.
The ideal candidate would enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a rapidly growing company.
Key Responsibilities
* Continuously analyse and optimize treatment processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the quality of the treated water. Implement process improvements, upgrade systems
* Prepare concept and detailed designs for industrial water / wastewater treatment plant projects.
* Prepare drawings, P&ID, PFD's, equipment sizing for pumps and associated equipment.
* Directly supervise installation, including management of subcontractors and liaising with clients.
* Manage on site commissioning of treatment plants
* Manage and administer assigned work packages in order to complete projects on time and on budget.
* Monitor and control the daily functioning of the wastewater treatment plant, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards. This includes managing the inflow and outflow processes, equipment operation, and handling any operational issues or emergencies that arise
* Collect and analyse operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. Prepare and present detailed reports on plant performance, process efficiency, compliance status
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering or demonstrable hands on experience as an Operator.
* Experience with industrial water / wastewater treatment plants is a must
* Experience in water & wastewater treatment systems maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimisation.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and technical aptitude.
* Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
