About The Role
The integrated team care/shared medical appointment support officer will participate as a
member of the workforce and leadership support team and will report to the program
coordinator/WALS manager.
This is an administration operational role to support the integrated team care (ITC) and shared
medical appointment (SMA) teams across the whole of the Northern Territory.
Responsibilities
General office duties
* Coordinate general office supports for the ITC and SMA teams as directed by the program coordinator.
* Manage program supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
* Maintain office filing systems (both electronic and physical).
* Oversee the travel logistics as required for program delivery.
Administrative support
* Contribute with the scheduling of meetings, appointments, forums and events for the SMA and ITC teams.
* Assist with preparing minutes, reports, presentations, correspondence and newsletters as required.
* Participate with event organisation and expense tracking.
Essential
Selection criteria (qualifications and attributes)
* Office administration and organisational experience including application of standard Microsoft office programs such as Word and Excel or a willingness to learn the skillsets.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Confident spoken and written communication skills.
* Willingness to learn in records management procedures, protocols and practice
* Project management and logistic skills particularly around organising meetings or an openness to learn.
* Awareness and respect of Aboriginal culture and knowledge of current issues effecting the lives of Aboriginal people.
Desirable
* Experience working in or with Aboriginal community controlled health services.
* High-level minute taking.
