Our client requires an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join their busy team.
You will be working with another experienced Senior Payroll Officer.Job tasks and responsibilitiesReporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for assisting with the following:Preparing and processing fortnightly and monthly pay runs for multiple companies;Calculating and processing Payroll Tax returns for multiple states;Lodging and tracking Workers Compensation claims and calculating premium adjustments for multiple states;Assisting with the preparation and lodging of the Workplace Gender Equality report;Assisting with and lodging various Australian Bureau of Statistics and other statutory reports forms;Assisting with the annual insurance renewals, lodgement of claims and assisting with broker queriesAssisting other members of the Finance team on regular monthly tasks and ad hoc projects as required;Any other additional tasks and responsibilities that may be added from time to time.Assist with the process of sourcing an alternative payroll systemOtherAssisting with the annual general insurance renewal report and Directors & Officers renewal report – requesting, collating and following up on information requiredLodge and follow up on claimsAssist with broker queriesAd hoc requestsSkills & ExperienceOur client is looking for a senior payroll officer with proven experience in working across different awards and delivering withinMiniumum 3-5 years experienceThe ability to solve problemsAbility to work both autonomously and also be part of a team
