A leading provider of personal finance and household products offers a unique opportunity for a senior test engineer to shape the testing strategy and lead cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
* Collaborate with developers and product owners to provide clear insights and drive defect resolution.
* Refine testing processes and mentor junior team members, promoting continuous improvement.
Requirements
* 7+ years of hands-on testing experience, with expertise in full-stack application environments.
* Proven ability to develop and maintain Test Plans and Test Summary Reports.
* Expertise in designing automated UI test suites using tools like Playwright or similar.
* Proficiency in automated API testing using Supertest, Axios, Postman, or equivalent.
* Experience with performance testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Artillery.io, JMeter, Lighthouse).
* Practical knowledge of CI/CD principles and experience integrating automated tests into pipelines.
* Proficiency using Azure DevOps (or similar ALM tools) for collaboration and repository management, coupled with experience using dedicated Test Management Tools for test case management, execution tracking, and reporting linkage.
* Strong defect management experience, including identification, detailed logging, tracking, and providing actionable feedback to development teams.
* Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS, including leveraging its services for testing purposes.
* Desirable skills include Salesforce or WordPress testing experience.
* Ability to analyze and enhance testing processes, methodologies, and tool usage to improve product quality and team productivity.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex issues and drive test strategy improvements.
* Regulated industry experience is considered a plus.
