This mid‑sized, forward‑thinking insurance repair builder is looking for a Project Coordinator / Supervisor to join their Queensland division in Townsville.
About the company
This insurance repair builder has a large network of Project Managers, Builders and Trades, a strong administrative support team and modernised systems and procedures in place. They operate under multiple insurance panels and are committed to providing a positive and social working culture where individuals can develop and grow long‑term.
About the role
You will be focused on a mixture of BAU and Major Loss Insurance Repair Building projects in Townsville. The role is 85% office based but requires the capability to act as a Supervisor and step on site to check on things as needed. No formal qualifications are required – industry experience only accepted.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate project activities and manage site visits for both BAU and Major Loss repairs.
- Supervise and monitor site‑based construction activities as required.
- Liaise with customers, trades and project managers to ensure project progress and quality standards are met.
Qualifications & Skills
- Project coordination experience within the insurance building industry preferred; exposure to residential or commercial construction coordinating is highly advantageous.
- Ability to step onto site and supervise/check on site‑based activities when required.
- Excellent communication skills with customers, trades and project managers.
- Skilled, responsible, and committed with a strong work ethic.
- Computer confident and able to use project management tools.
- Able to commit to the role long‑term with a willingness to grow with the company.
