Job Description
We are currently looking for a passionate and driven individual to take on the role as a full time receptionist (or Guest Service Agent) with the flexibility to work 5 shifts a week on a rotating roster which may include mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
The responsibilities:
Checking guests in and out
Maintaining accurate guest accounts
Taking bookings, providing helpful information & entering reservations
Answering guests queries in a timely and efficient manner
Addressing guest requests and handling guest complaints in a positive manner
Liaise with other departments to assist guest and advise of room moves
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
Previous Front Office Reception experience preferably in a hotel or resort workplace
Skilled telephone manner and exceptional customer service skills
A friendly and positive can-do attitude who enjoys working in a team
Previous experience with PMS (Property Management System) is desired but not essential
Current RSA or Approved Manager's will be an advantage.
Rates of Pay (base)
$26.70 per hour Monday - Friday
$33.38 per hour Saturdays
$40.05 per hour Sundays
$60.08 per hour Public Holidays
What we are looking for
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Flexibility to work a 7-day roster.
Attention to detail.
Good time management and multi-tasking skills.
Experience is preferred, but not essential – we will provide supportive training.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
