We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis.
The Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals while ensuring kitchen operations run efficiently. The role requires strong culinary skills, the ability to maintain high food safety standards, and the capacity to work collaboratively within a busy kitchen environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
* Preparation, cooking, and presentation of food as per the menu
* Strong emphasis on quality and consistency of dishes
* Passion for quality output in an efficient time frame
* Creative skills in menu preparation, design, planning, and costing
* Ability to handle large service numbers
* Train and manage cooks and kitchen staff
* Achieving all safety, hygiene, and food quality standards
* Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, workstations, and food preparation areas
* Implement proper food storage, freezing and preservation techniques to maintain quality and minimise waste
* Manage daily kitchen operations, including ordering, receiving, and checking kitchen supplies
To be successful in this role you will possess
* Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in a commercial kitchen environment
* Ability to work under pressure
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
* Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry
* Relevant qualifications
* Effective communication skills
