**Key Responsibilities**
- Design high-level and detailed ETL solutions using the Ab Initio suite, including GDE, Plans, EME, m-hub, and DQE.
- Lead and mentor a team of Ab Initio developers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Develop reusable frameworks, templates, and components to optimize development efforts.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and create effective designs.
- Review and approve development deliverables, including ETL code, design documents, and test plans.
- Oversee the implementation of Ab Initio solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS/ GCP or in containerized environments.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, version control, and development best practices.
- Proactively identify risks and address project challenges to ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization of ETL workflows.
**Required Skills and Experience**
- **Ab Initio Expertise**: Extensive experience with GDE, Plans, EME, m-hub, and other Ab Initio components.
- **Leadership**: Proven ability to lead and mentor development teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Strong skills in SQL, Unix shell scripting, and ETL frameworks.
- **Cloud Knowledge**: Experience with migrating and running Ab Initio solutions on AWS/ GCP or containerized platforms.
- **Design Skills**: Expertise in creating high-level and detailed design documents.
- **Problem Solving**: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address technical challenges effectively.
- **SDLC Knowledge**: Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment.
- **Communication**: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members.
