The Opportunity We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechatronics Engineer to design, implement, and manage cutting-edge automation systems for our diverse client base.
This role offers the chance to work on impactful projects, leveraging your expertise in pneumatic and mechanical systems to deliver solutions that transform operations in agriculture, food processing, seed production, and beverage industries.
Key Responsibilities
•
Design and develop pneumatic and mechanical automation systems tailored for clients in agriculture, food, seed, and beverage sectors.
•
Lead on-site installation and commissioning of CRUSH, CONVEY, and CONTROL systems, ensuring optimal efficiency and reliability.
•
Create 3D models and 2D electrical drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD Electrical, and develop modular control systems.
•
Provide retrofit solutions to enhance performance and scalability for both new and existing projects.
•
Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, from client inquiry and feasibility analysis to design, execution, and final documentation.
•
Utilise Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD Electrical, and CRM tools for project coordination, tracking, and inventory management.
•
Prepare detailed proposals and cost estimates while fostering solid client relationships to support long-term business growth.
About You
•
Bachelor's degree.
•
At least three years of proven experience in designing and implementing pneumatic and mechanical automation systems.
•
Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD Electrical for 3D modelling and electrical drawings.
•
Robust project management skills, with the ability to oversee projects from concept to completion.
•
Familiarity with CRM tools and inventory management systems.
•
Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to delivering innovative solutions.
•
Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients and internal teams.
•
Knowledge of agriculture, food, seed, or beverage industries is a plus.
•
Eligibility to work in Australia and willingness to travel for on-site installations.
