Job Title: Trades Assistant
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Trades Assistant to join our team at Malaga, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting Dismantlers in identifying relevant parts to be extracted from various makes and models of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
* Complete daily vehicle hoist inspection
* Assist Dismantler to identify relevant parts
* Clean, inspect, test and organise engines and transmission
* Strap engines and transmissions on pallets for transport
* Maintain a clean and orderly work area
* Scanning and putting away engines and transmissions on to pallets in the warehouse
* Recycle core stock
* Transport vehicles to a hoist
* Maintain tools as required
* Perform other tasks as required
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
* Mechanical knowledge of cars
* Forklift licence (Essential)
* Able to work safely and efficiently
* Time management & organisational skills
