What will you do?
* Assist the Activities Manager in ensuring all deliverables are met
* Oversee guest activity bookings pre-arrival and onsite, ensuring bookings are accurately allocated and rostered
* Coordinate the daily logistics of incoming and outgoing guests, and scheduled activities.
* Monitor guest feedback onsite and take proactive steps to address service gaps or guest concerns escalating to management where appropriate
* Ensure that each guest interaction is personalised and aligned to brand standards, creating special experiences one guest at a time.
* Support rostering and staff allocation processes, including daily replacements and adjustments.
* Assist with implementation of strategies to improve service speed and operational efficiency
* Maintain inventory and asset management systems for activities equipment and supplies.
* Assist in ensuring tools and equipment are safe, functional, and compliant with regulations.
* Provide administrative support for special projects and departmental initiatives under the guidance of the Activities Manager.
* Maintain a safe work environment and support implementation of OH&S practices and policies.
* Foster a collaborative, guest-focused team culture while maintaining employee engagement and wellbeing.
* Provide regular feedback, both positive and constructive, to team members on performance.
* Support recruitment efforts in collaboration with the Activities Manager and the Talent Team to attract top talent.
* Provide on-the-job training for team members regarding operational procedures, safety standards, and guest service expectations.
* Ensure all team members understand and adhere to company policies, procedures, and Code of Conduct.
* Maintain financial records to ensure accurate billing and reconciliation of guest activity charges and payments.
More about you
* Bachelor's degree in tourism, hospitality, marine science, or a related field - Desirable
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, managing activities in a hospitality or tourism setting
* Strong leadership skills and in-depth knowledge of marine and tourism activities, including safety regulations and protocols
* Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a strong focus on customer service
* Certification in relevant marine and tourism activities, such as PADI Dive Master or Instructor, Coxswain Grade 1 or higher, First Aid and CPR, Manuel Drivers Licence, and other relevant certifications
