About the Job:
* Seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to process accurate and timely payroll, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administer payroll for employees accurately and on time
* Ensure compliance with relevant laws, tax regulations, and company policies
* Calculate wages, bonuses, deductions, and benefits
* Maintain and update payroll records and employee data
* Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare payroll reports
* Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and management
* Collaborate with HR and Finance departments for smooth payroll operations
* Assist with audits and year-end payroll activities, including tax filings
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of payroll procedures, payroll software, and applicable laws
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Proficient in MS Excel and payroll software (e.g. Xero, ADP, SAP, QuickBooks)
* Strong organisational and time management abilities
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Relevant certification in payroll or accounting is a plus
