Based in our Subiaco office, Altrad is seeking an experienced Injury Management Coordinator to join our team in a permanent full-time role, supporting early intervention and injury management across our site operations.
In this role, you will work closely with site-based contacts to provide timely, practical guidance that supports injured workers and promotes positive recovery-at-work outcomes. You'll play a key part in ensuring employees receive the right support early in their recovery journey, helping to enable safe and sustainable return-to-work pathways.
This opportunity is well suited to individuals with experience in organisations that prioritise recovery-at-work principles. We are also open to recent graduates in Allied Health, Vocational or Occupational Rehabilitation, as well as candidates with experience in claims management or insurance/broker environments who are looking to transition into an internal, employer-based role with no billable hours.
About the role
Your day-to-day includes:
* Provide Early Intervention/ Injury Management support to site based employees
* Develop, coordinate and monitor the Return to Work process in line with Altrad's injury management procedure
* Attend GP Case Conferences and engage with injured workers and treaters
* Provide support, educate and engage with supervisors on best injury management practices
* Manage Altrad's fitness for work process
* Report on LTI, MTI and First Aid statistics
* Administration of Workers Compensation and Income Protection claims

* Proven understanding of injury management / workers compensation and recovery at work principles
* Ability to influence and engage employees and managers across the Return to Work process
* Working knowledge of Workers Compensation legislation (advantageous)
* Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage competing tasks
* A critical thinker with strong problem-solving ability
* A natural ability to build and maintain relationships
