In this role, you'll take ownership of core financial processes including general ledger management, journal preparation across joint ventures and projects, monthly trial balance reviews, variance analysis, and intercompany reconciliations. You'll also prepare monthly group reporting packages and ensure our financial insights are accurate, timely, and trusted across the organisation.A key part of your success will come from the relationships you build. You'll partner closely with Operations and department leaders to deliver meaningful financial support, contribute to forecasting and budgeting cycles, and help teams understand the story behind the numbers. You'll lead the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, support statutory and management reporting under AASB/IFRS, and maintain strong internal controls. With a continuous improvement mindset, you'll champion better processes, automation opportunities, and enhanced ways of working. You'll also guide the Corporate Accountant and AP Officer, helping build capability, confidence, and cohesion within the finance team.About youYou are tertiary qualified in Accounting Finance or Commerce and have completed your CA/CPA. You have at least 8+ years Financial Accounting experience with sound exposure to corporate/project accounting and are proficient with ERP systems including SAP, Oracle, or Netsuite etc). Intermediate to advanced excel skills are a must and you have navigated ASX listed or global multinational businesses. You have sound knowledge of AASB/IFRS, reconciliations, and GST/Bas and FBT fundamentals.With strong attention to detail, you operate with a continuous improvement mindset and take ownership of tasks.
