Rural Business Support (RBS) is an independent not for profit organisation committed to assisting small businesses, farmers, landowners, and communities in Northern Territory and South Australia in achieving profitability and sustainability.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in a dynamic part-time support role, working three days per week. This position focuses on communications, stakeholder engagement, and office coordination. As a key member of our team, you will assist in the preparation and distribution of communication materials across multiple platforms, including newsletters, websites, and social media. You will also support the delivery of stakeholder surveys and contribute to content updates, helping ensure our messaging is clear, consistent, and impactful.
The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of high-quality printed and digital collateral for events, forums, and community outreach, and will serve as a welcoming first point of contact at our Magill office. In addition to providing essential administrative support, including managing supplies and coordinating logistics, the role will assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders across sectors such as government, industry, business, and the community.

Key responsibilities include:
•Assisting with the development and distribution of digital and print communication materials
•Assist with the creation and scheduling engaging social media content
•Supporting the upkeep of website content using provided templates
•Monitoring media coverage and maintaining promotional stock
•Acting as the first point of contact at our Magill office, greeting visitors with professionalism and courtesy
•Managing office supplies and coordinating printing, postage, and courier services

•Good organisational and multitasking abilities
•A friendly and professional manner when interacting with colleagues and stakeholders
•Experience with content management systems and social media scheduling tools is desirable
