We are seeking a Fleet Manager to join our team in a permanent full time position.
**Position Details:**
The Fleet Manager will be responsible for the day to day planning and coordination of the fleet and drivers. This includes driving efficiencies in the utilisation of company trailing equipment, ensuring compliance requirements are met and maintaining a safe working environment in line with road compliance laws and workplace legislation.
This role involves co-ordination of all loading/unloading of company and subcontractor vehicles, scheduling and positioning of company trailing equipment, customer bookings and service support, effective communication across drivers and customers, review and data entry of driver run sheets, management of vehicle documentation and maintenance of a safe working environment.
**Requirements:**
- Experience in allocating and scheduling construction/heavy haulage equipment is an advantage
- Strong commitment to safety and demonstrated positive safety leadership
- Intermediate computer skills and data entry
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously or within a team environment
- Comprehensive fleet allocation and load planning skills
- Professional manner when dealing with customers
- A good work ethic and ability to meet deadlines
