As an Equipment Maintenance Officer at Fiona Stanley Hospital, you will play a crucial role in maintaining hospital equipment and infrastructure to support high-quality patient care. Reporting to the Property and Equipment Manager, your responsibilities include:
- Coordinating contractors and managing permits.
- Monitoring and updating work order status.
- Requesting and executing contractor quotes
- Ensuring Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) tasks are carried out as per the maintenance plan.
- Supporting the management of equipment lifecycle and repairs.

To be successful in this role you'll have:
- knowledge of Australian Standards for Medical Devices and patient-related equipment
- Experience in maintenance protocols, planning, and quality assurance processes.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Experience in a healthcare environment is a plus
