This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that plays a critical role in helping keep Australia free from harmful pests and diseases by supporting the movement of goods through our borders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to enquiries from importers and internal stakeholders via telephone and email, providing clear and accurate guidance.
* Coordinate and process inspection bookings using internal systems.
* Manage operational workflows and assist in resourcing inspections.
* Identify and escalate potential biosecurity risks to the appropriate channels.
* Liaise with clients and partner agencies on technical and procedural matters.
* Support supervisors with monitoring daily service performance and team outputs.
* Promote and adhere to safety, ethical, and behavioural standards aligned with government service values.

Skills & Attributes Required:

* Willingness to undertake ongoing training and contribute to operational improvements.
* Demonstrated commitment to accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
* Contact Centre experience preferred, but not essential.
Requirements:
* Be Australian citizens.
* Be able to obtain and maintain a Baseline Vetting security clearance.
* Undergo pre-employment checks including a National Police Check and reference checks.
