What You'll Be Doing
MNCLHD has been provided funding to establish a Menopause Service. The hub and spoke model will provide a multidisciplinary response to women and people experiencing severe and complex menopause symptoms.
The Clinical Project Lead will work with stakeholders to align with NSW Health's key initiatives and the Agency for Clinical Innovation's menopause model guidelines. The Clinical Lead will provide outpatient care including assessment, clinical advice, care planning and referral to service partners to best meet individual patient needs.
Organisational planning and coordination of MDT will be required utilising a medical specialist Hub within Hunter New England LHD. Primary Health Care capability enhancement, through workshops and education sessions may also be a key response strategy and requirement of the position.
This position is location negotiable within Mid North Coast LHD.
About You
Do you have bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification for registration or eligibility for registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia, or Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife who has at least 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in the specialty field and an approved postgraduate nursing/midwifery qualifications relevant to the field. Current professional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and demonstrated interest and experience in women's health and an understanding of some of the severe or complex multisystem menopause related presentations and treatments
