I'm working with a Federal Government to find a Geospatial SQL Developer.
This is an initial contract until October 2026 and can be based in QLD, ACT, VIC, NSW, NT, SA or TAS.
You will have the following experience:
- 5+ years’ experience with GIS software development and Cloud solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver Geospatial solutions and support through the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile development practices and processes including Azure Enterprise Cloud.
- Robust proficiency in SQL Server spatial functions (e.g., STDistance, STIntersects).
- Experience with Azure Maps REST APIs and SDKs.
- Familiarity with Azure Function Apps or Logic Apps for lightweight geospatial processing.
- Understanding of coordinate systems, spatial indexing, and data formats like GeoJSON and WKT.
