Job Title: People and Workplace Professional
This role requires a skilled HR and Safety Officer to partner with leaders and employees across the organisation, providing proactive and responsive advice on all people matters.
* Support and accurate consistent HR information to management and employees on employment functions including recruitment, engagement, employee benefits, retention, employment relations and professional development.
* Develop an effective business partnership with key stakeholders and partner with department leaders to understand their business requirements, identify trends, develop solutions and strategies to meet their operational needs.
* Coordinate and participate in corporate induction processes for all employees and contractors, and provide in-house HR related training and workshops to assist organisational understanding of HR requirements.
* Interpret and assist to draft HR policies, programs and practices to ensure alignment with relevant legislation to mitigate risk and support compliance.
* Manage HR and Recruitment queries via inboxes and provide immediate and accurate feedback on all HR processes, procedures and initiatives.
* Provide sound advice on compliance across all aspects of the employment relationship.
* Maintain relevant human resources records, information and databases and provide accurate human resource reports and analytics for management to make decisions and raise issues and concerns.
* Leverage technology to streamline efficiency and enhance employee experience and work practices.
* Conduct and report results on internal employee surveys.
* Keep position descriptions up to date, relevant and in line with organisational requirements, seek input and approval from managers and directors.
* Complete performance development review processes in your area of business, identify skills gaps and recommend workforce solutions that meet the organisation's strategic and operational needs.
A qualification in Human Resources, Employment Law or other relevant discipline is desirable, and a current unrestricted driver's licence are essential for this role.
Part-time options will be considered for the right candidate, provided role responsibilities can be fully met.
