About This Role
This is an opportunity to join our team as a Nurse who will deliver direct and comprehensive nursing care to village residents.
Promote and deliver a holistic approach to care, focusing on the needs and rights of village residents in accordance with Consumer Directed Care (CDC) principles.
Responsibilities
1. Assessment, prevention, early detection, referral and health promotion;
2. Quality customer care;
3. Provide comprehensive, safe and effective evidence-based care to achieve identified individual health outcomes.
4. Provide education to village residents oriented towards the promotion of health improvements.
5. Provide support, direction and education to shift care team (EN & Personal Care Assistants) including newer or less experienced staff.
6. Provide clinical leadership for the shift care team including:
* Attending to incidents or issues requiring clinical escalation;
* Ensuring compliance with incident reporting processes; and
* Escalating issues to the appropriate person in a timely manner.
