The program aims to enhance Finance and HR capabilities, streamline business processes, and improve reporting and analytics through automation and reduced customisation. Your New RoleAs the SAP Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of a large-scale migration from SAP ECC6 to S/4HANA, with a particular focus on Payroll (H4S4) and core ERP functionality. You’ll work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and senior stakeholders to ensure the project meets its objectives within defined time, cost, and quality parameters. This role requires strong leadership, technical understanding, and the ability to navigate complex delivery environments. Your ResponsibilitiesDrive end-to-end delivery of SAP migration and transformation initiativesLead planning, execution, and reporting across all phases of the project lifecycleManage stakeholder engagement, vendor coordination, and team mobilisationOversee documentation, governance, and compliance with government standardsIdentify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and maintain delivery momentumEnsure alignment with organisational change management and benefits realisationProvide accurate and timely reporting on project status, financials, and resource needs What You Need to SucceedProven experience managing SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration projects in large-scale environmentsStrong understanding of SAP ECC Payroll and H4S4 (S/4HANA Payroll)Demonstrated ability to manage technical migration and customisation remediationExcellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skillsExperience using SAP Activate and contemporary project management methodologiesProject management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile)Proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft Office tools Desirable Criteria:SAP certifications relevant to ECC and S/4HANA migrationExperience in organisational change management and benefits realisationAbility to lead teams through ambiguity and shifting prioritiesStrong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities
